Midnight Resistance was a blog I co-created with my friends Andi Hamilton and Sean Bell, later bolstered by also-friend Chris Spann. We wrote articles about games and games culture, produced a regular podcast, and (with the help of our friends)Â organised events like the Mount Your Friends UK Championship, our annual Eurogamer Party, #DULLJAMÂ (a game jam for boring games), and a few live shows. We eventually shut the whole thing down after about six years because everyone was getting married and having kids and getting proper jobs, and we didn’t have much time left to keep it all up.
The blog was once nominated for a GMA award, and has hosted one previous GMA-winning article.
